Cuts off the main gas supply and switchs off all the burners at the same time.
Copreci, the global manufacturer of components for gas appliances introduces its latest development in gas safety for gas hobs, the Main Switch system.
This system allows the user the automatic shut off of gas supply; using a single button the user can cut the gas flow immediately. It´s very useful in case of incidents, to avoid manipulation of children or, if for any reason, all the burners must be switched off quickly
Thanks to it´s special design, the main switch can be installed both in free-standing or built-in cookers.

Copreci Turkey has improvised a logistics center at its plant, located near Istanbul, to send coal, warm clothes and food to the areas most affected by the quake.
Tayfun Ucar, Copreci's plant manager, is in charge of the improvised operation, trying to manage the complicated logistics of getting aid to the affected areas. He himself has told us that they are receiving material, such as blankets, warm clothes, coal or food, which they are packing and sending to the affected areas, in a task that is not easy because of the chaos in which the country is plunged after the tragedy."This is the most important thing, that the aid reaches where it needs to reach, and especially the small villages". Tayfun also told us about the difficulties they are having to manage the situation because, in addition to working against the clock to try to rescue people from the rubble, the intense cold "of even -15 degrees" and the snowfalls are making rescue operations even more difficult.
It should be noted that more than 72 hours have already passed since the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, and the death toll has already exceeded 17,000.

Copreci begins a new stage with Javier García San Martín (Aretxabaleta, 1971) as the new general manager of the cooperative. Until now, Javier was Operations and Production director at Ulma Forge Solutions and has more than 20 years of experience in management committees.
Mechanical technical engineer from Mondragon Unibertsitatea, he later studied mechanical design at the Polytechnic School of Lausanne (Switzerland).
He worked as manager in the mechanical design department of Ikerlan Technology Center, and later held various positions at Fagor Electrodomésticos.
As Javier told us, “I am very excited, I am aware that it is a very important challenge, socially and business-wise, and I am willing to work hard so that we all feel part of this project.”
Coincidentally, Javier García is the son of Javier García, who also had a relevant professional career in the cooperative, since he worked in the Purchasing department, was president between 1999-2003 and concluded his career as manager of Copreci México. So Javier García Jr. has the advantage of having that emotional bond with Copreci, after having lived the adventure of the cooperative at home. Good luck for the new stage! -

Copreci at the Vesta Awards, here it´s the Vesta entry for this 2014.
For years the most important problem of the gas grills has been the ignition. A gas explosion could have a very sad consequences and everybody in the industry is trying to avoid this. The explosions are caused by the accumulation of gas once the gas valve has been open and the ignition system has failed. As far as we cannot easily see the flame of the burner, we don´t know if it is working or not. In the meantime, the gas continues flowing and when finally the user ignites the system; all the accumulated gas explodes with a very dangerous fire wave.
The Copreci Safe Ignition System ensures the gas grill re-ignition. You can program how many times the system will try to ignite (2, 3, 4…) and if after these attempts the flame is not detected, the system automatically shut off the gas.
The system consists of a valve, a magnetic group, a thermocouple and an electronic card. The system can detect the presence of the flame. If there is no flame, the system tries to ignite again. If for any conditions (wind, dirt...), the burner does not ignite after the programmed number of attempts; the magnet unit shuts off the gas supply thus preventing explosions.
This system is based on the experience that Copreci has in other industries such as domestic gas cooking, boilers.. and this is the first time successfully applied to gas grills.
Why it´s innovating?
This is an innovative solution in the BBQ industry because never before a re-ignition system has been applied into a gas grill. The system incorporates, not only different ignition tries, but also the flame detection, as well as a thermo-electrical safety shut off.
The system allows adding optical (LEDs) or acoustic signals in order to give the final user more information about the real status of the grill.
