A renewed induction arrives...
Copreci's GF10 induction cooktop is constantly growing, an evolving platform that allows the integration of new solutions and innovations.
Its dimensions range from 60, 80 and 90cm, allowing configurations of 4, 5 and even 6 cooking zones, in addition to the new version in domino format (30cm).
In 2023, GF10 integrates 5 different types of interface...
- an extended, easy and convenient touch control, which manages up to 5 cooking zones
- the "duoslide" control for domino format cooktops
- the new sixKnob, which can manage up to 6 burners with knobs.
- a hidden control, which allows the integration of more innovative designs
- a TFT display, with an attractive graphic design
GF10 offers different solutions for FlowIn systems starting from the Domino configuration and the Nsense interface, allowing the integration of most existing blowers.
The GF 10 platform is UL compliant, allowing to build different alternatives for the American market. All this with a very reduced height to facilitate assembly and optimize space.
The GF10 generation is ready to connect to external devices, the cloud or applications with WIFI or Bluetooth connections. GF10 also offers the automatic pot detection function, as well as different intelligent safety and cooking functions.
A versatile platform for hob manufacturers to offer innovative solutions to the end user. -

Copreci collaborates with...
Companies like Copreci, with production plants in Europe, Asia, Africa and America are very attractive for young students of the Master in Internationalization of Mondragon Unibersitatea.
Copreci collaborates since the first edition with MU in this Master oriented to allow participants to experience in first person the internationalization and cultural adaptation of companies. We live in a globalized world and companies are no strangers to this scenario. For this they need agile professionals who can manage with judgment, speed and efficiency in these highly competitive and changing global environments.
Yesterday we had the eighth collaboration of Copreci with MU, we hope there will be many more. Copreci, partner that collaborates with universities.

Copreci signs an agreement...
On December 13th, Copreci signed an agreement with local partners Fresh Electric, EBDA and El Araby to invest $7.6 million in the first plant in Egypt, which will produce 15 million safety valves for gas stoves. This new plant will start serial production in April 2023. This new plant will be added to those already established worldwide and will enable the company to expand its product portfolio in the region, an increasingly interesting market.
Egypt has 105 million inhabitants and an annual growth of 3 million people, a country that is moving towards industrial modernization, where the white goods sector is a priority in this development.
Copreci has been working for many years and has been the reference for gas stove solutions in Egypt. Now, hand in hand with its local partners, it is taking a further step to provide local support for the technical and growth challenges faced by companies in the domestic appliance sector in the country.

COPRECI and IKERLAN sign a...
The collaboration will strengthen technology development in the areas of electromagnetics, electrical machines and power electronics.
The alliance between the two entities will enable the development of more value-added, resilient and consumer-friendly products.
The IKERLAN technology centre and the COPRECI cooperative, dedicated to the design and manufacture of components and systems for household appliances, have signed a technological collaboration agreement for the next four years that will allow the development of disruptive innovations in electronics, providing robustness, efficiency and maintainability requirements to the basic functionality. In addition, the products developed will integrate cybersecurity and artificial intelligence technologies that will result in products with greater added value, which are more resilient and user-friendly.
The agreement will enable technological development in the household appliance sector and includes the development of technology in the areas of electromagnetism, electrical machines and power electronics, for the design and integral development of small electric drives, motor control strategies, contactless charging systems for household appliances (Inductive Coupling Power Transfer) or induction heating systems for household appliances, among others.
Imanol Oleaga, managing director of COPRECI, and Ion Etxeberria, managing director of IKERLAN, accompanied by research staff from both entities, were responsible for signing the agreement at a meeting held today, 27 February, at COPRECI's facilities in Aretxabaleta.
This new alliance between COPRECI and IKERLAN strengthens the close relationship that both entities have maintained for more than 45 years. It is no coincidence that COPRECI is one of the user partner entities that backed IKERLAN in the 1970s and is a clear exponent of inter-cooperation in the industrial field that allows the knowledge of the technology centre to be transferred to the industrial field.
IKERLAN has extensive experience in the development of cutting-edge technologies in electromagnetism and power electronics, areas in which it has also participated in various European research projects such as: the UltimateGaN project (based on gallium nitride semiconductors), Reaction (based on silicon carbide semiconductors for energy technologies) or InductIce (application for de-icing aircraft wings by means of induction heating). These collaborations have led to closer relations with the main microelectronics players in Europe, including Infineon and ST Microelectronics.
Ion Etxeberria, managing director of IKERLAN, stressed that thanks to this agreement "we feel very proud to strengthen our relationship with a benchmark company in our local environment and at the same time with great international prestige such as COPRECI and to extend the collaboration between both entities beyond technology, with the purpose of facing together the new challenges that both organisations face, among which I would highlight specialisation and talent".
Imanol Oleaga, manging director of COPRECI, pointed out that "this collaboration reaffirms the strategy of alliances that we have established in our strategic plan, which reflects that we have to surround ourselves with the best to reach the market in time to offer sustainable and value-added solutions. It allows us to create a local network in the field of power electronics and digitisation, to be able to lead technologically and compete on an international scale. It strengthens our commitment to develop environmentally friendly SOLUTIONS that promote ethical and healthy consumption. The organisational trust between both companies and the work in multidisciplinary teams helps us to develop and exchange talent”.

Copreci-Turkey activates...
Copreci Turkey has improvised a logistics center at its plant, located near Istanbul, to send coal, warm clothes and food to the areas most affected by the quake.
Tayfun Ucar, Copreci's plant manager, is in charge of the improvised operation, trying to manage the complicated logistics of getting aid to the affected areas. He himself has told us that they are receiving material, such as blankets, warm clothes, coal or food, which they are packing and sending to the affected areas, in a task that is not easy because of the chaos in which the country is plunged after the tragedy."This is the most important thing, that the aid reaches where it needs to reach, and especially the small villages". Tayfun also told us about the difficulties they are having to manage the situation because, in addition to working against the clock to try to rescue people from the rubble, the intense cold "of even -15 degrees" and the snowfalls are making rescue operations even more difficult.
It should be noted that more than 72 hours have already passed since the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, and the death toll has already exceeded 17,000.
