Copreci Wins Vanward Best...
Congratulations, or as they say in Chinese, "gōng xǐ" (恭喜), to the entire Copreci China team for winning the Best Supplier Award from Vanward, our main customer in China.
Being the best among 1000 suppliers is not easy, but the dedication and professionalism of the people at Copreci China have made it possible.
Vanward is the main OEM of Weber, the world's leading gas BBQ manufacturer, and has now become an ODM, meaning they not only supply the BBQs but also participate in the design. Vanward considers Copreci a strategic partner and has awarded the balance between quality, support in problem-solving for the BBQ, short lead time, and flexibility in urgent orders... -

Copreci Joins European...
The Harmony Project, whose name stands for "Holistic Approach to enhance the Recyclability of rare-earth permanent Magnets Obtained from aNY waste stream," contributes to the EU Circular Economy Action Plan (2020).
This project emerges in response to the urgent need of the European Union to become independent from China's dependency on the supply of rare earth elements (REE). This dependency has been identified as a critical factor in ensuring crucial value chains for the European economy.
By joining the Harmony Project, COPRECI commits to significantly contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enable the recovery and efficient recycling of rare earth magnets from various waste streams. This collaboration strengthens COPRECI's commitment to promoting sustainability and the circular economy in the region.

New CEO of Copreci
Copreci begins a new stage with Javier García San Martín (Aretxabaleta, 1971) as the new general manager of the cooperative. Until now, Javier was Operations and Production director at Ulma Forge Solutions and has more than 20 years of experience in management committees.
Mechanical technical engineer from Mondragon Unibertsitatea, he later studied mechanical design at the Polytechnic School of Lausanne (Switzerland).
He worked as manager in the mechanical design department of Ikerlan Technology Center, and later held various positions at Fagor Electrodomésticos.
As Javier told us, “I am very excited, I am aware that it is a very important challenge, socially and business-wise, and I am willing to work hard so that we all feel part of this project.”
Coincidentally, Javier García is the son of Javier García, who also had a relevant professional career in the cooperative, since he worked in the Purchasing department, was president between 1999-2003 and concluded his career as manager of Copreci México. So Javier García Jr. has the advantage of having that emotional bond with Copreci, after having lived the adventure of the cooperative at home. Good luck for the new stage!

Copreci & WEEE-Loop...
The amount of waste electrical and electronic equipment (known as WEEE or e-waste) generated every year in the EU is increasing rapidly.
Copreci, in its commitment to the circular economy, is immersed in the WEEE-Loop project, an initiative in collaboration with Circular Replay, ExxitaBeCircular and the Emaus Foundation, which seeks the selective recovery of parts and components in the appliance industry.
This project has been selected for funding in the framework of the PERTE de Economía Circular del MITECO through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and the NextGen European Funds. WEEE-Loop aims to demonstrate the technological potential of this solution to increase the current rates of reuse of household appliances, recovering parts and components that will be reintroduced into the ValueChain, with its Circpass circularity certificate. -

Weber presents its smart...
Last week took place the CES (Consumer Electronic Show) in Las Vegas, where Weber introduced its latest innovation: a smart BBQ that features an electronic ignition and gas control system developed by Copreci.
The Weber Connect Smart Grilling system allows the digital regulation of the flame through a simple cell phone or the BBQ display itself, opening a world of possibilities for the management of the grill, from the control of the temperature of the food in real time, sending notifications to the smartphone, access to recipes.....
At the heart of the BBQ Summit is the electronic system integrated in the gas valves, designed by Copreci to control the power of the flame, detect the presence of the flame on the burners and the infrared (IR) grill. Automatically, SmartControl technology resets the flame when necessary, ensuring a safe and continuous grilling experience.
This technology offers around 600 recipes, guided cooking programs, and automatic alerts and letting Smartphones notify when your food is ready. Thus, the BBQ Summit is designed to meet the highest culinary demands. -
