Copreci has developed the heart of the electronic system of this induction hob with a temperature sensor and core temperature probe. This project opens a new range of solutions to cook with precise temperature, allowing to control cooking time and temperature. With low-temperature cooking you will prevent food from losing nutrients, ensuring that its nutritional values are better preserved.
The Rocook project has been developed by CATA appliances, the company Lékué and Alícia Foundation for the prestigious restaurant El Celler de Can Roca. For this they have had a multidisciplinary team in which have participated Copreci, Eika, Mondragon University and the Engineerings Zermik and Perspectiva. Thanks to a temperature sensor and a core temperature probe we get the optimal flavor and texture in each recipe. Rocook Induction allows you to cook with precise temperature control or by power setting (like a traditional induction cooker). Its light weight and small size allow it to be stored in any kitchen cupboard, and you can even transport it inside a travel case. It is very easy to use: all you have to do is programme the temperature you want to cook at and the cooking time.How does it work?: see video

Kunshan Authorities visits...
On May 4th, a Kunshan Goverment delegation, headed by Ms Gao Yiping, Qiandeng mayor (where the MONDRAGON Industrial Park is located), and Mr. Gu Juming (director of the Kunshan Chamber of Comerce), visited the Corporation, by several chinese entrepreneurs.
Oskar Goitia, the MONDRAGON Internationals president, was the responsible for the official receipt on the premises of the Corporation. After which a meeting was held with some cooperative representatives, to analyse the advantages of Kunshan as a location for foreing companies with interests in China. In adittion to the cooperative representatives, Miren Madinabeitia, the director of Internationalisation of SPRI (Basque Goverment) aslo took part in the event.
After the meeting in the corporation premises, the delegation moved to Copreci, in Aretxabaleta. Copreci was the last cooperative located in the industrial park of Kusan and it hopes to start business this same year. The chinese delegation was received by Javier Oleaga, the manager, whith whom they visited the production premises of the plant of Aretxabaleta, emphasising on the chinese domestic cooking valves, which will be produced from Kunshan.

MONDRAGON’s new video sums up in just over four minutes the essence of an innovative cooperative group with a worldwide footprint, made up of different businesses and committed to inter-cooperation.
The group has recently completed the production of a new four-minute video explaining the keys to the cooperative project. It consists of a documentary lasting four-and-a-half minutes, with the main aim of presenting an overview of the cooperative project’s scope. The new video is a communication tool basically highlighting four relevant aspects of the cooperative group: diversity of business, international scope, innovation/promotion and inter-cooperation.

Felix Kerejeta, Senior...
Galbaian, the Industrial Property Agency has given to Felix Kerejeta the best inventor award of the year. Every April 26, it´s celebrated the World Intellectual Property Day to promote the role that intellectual property rights (patents, trademarks, industrial designs, copyright) play in encouraging innovation and creativity.
This act was part part of the activities organized to celebrate the day. With this award GALBAIAN recognises the most outstanding inventor of the last year considering patent applications and utility models submitted. Felix Kerejeta is deserving of this award thanks to the number of new patent applications, and the quality of the inventions. In addition, Felix has a spectacular track record with over 23 patent families already published and developed in Copreci, a company with a special sensitivity on patents with about 300 inventions throughout history.

COPRECI and the American...
HPBA, the "Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Expo" is the largest fair of this sector in the USA, and every year attracts thousands of professionals in a different American city. This time the fair was held in New Orleans.
Mr. Jack Goldman, president of HPBA handed over a commemorative plaque to Jokin Antxia, who attended on behalf of Copreci during the past 20 years without interruption.
We asked Jokin Antxia about it, why is significant this event in the history of Copreci?
J. Antxia: Although we already were attending this fair as visitors, this year we celebrate 20 years attending the show with our own stand. In those days, the fair was the opportunity to place Copreci on the map and gave us know in the market.How has this sector evolved?
J. Antxia: Initially all manufacturers were in the United States and therefore the fair was eminently national, but with the migration of many manufacturers to China, the fair declined somewhat in size, to reach its current size in which several customers have returned to manufacture again in North America.After so many years relationships with customers will be very special, isn’t?
Yes of course, relations in such events are very peculiar, because the partners, with whom we negotiate contracts or technical characteristics of a product, appear so natural 2 hours later disguised in a party organized by the same fair. I remember being with Jack Goldman, dressed as Elvis a couple of years ago.
And some memorable experience?
J. Antxia: Many, because we have also had the opportunity to contact people from very different backgrounds and cultures. In addition, we have also been at the same time with the Basque Diaspora, as some fairs have been held in places like Reno where there are important Basque communities. We also have Basque-Americans customers as “Aupa Plancha”, which incorporate Basque symbolism in their products, and the truth is that they are very unique experiences.

Attendance at the fair, along with the upcoming new facility of Copreci in Kunshan reinforce Copreci´s commitment with the Chinese market.
This was the first time that Copreci exhibited at this show, which brought together major manufacturers in the sector as Haier, Midea, Samsung, LG, Panasonic and other brands such as Bosch, Siemens, Whirlpool ... 100,000 m2 of exhibition grounds and more than 100,000 visitors.
Copreci officially introduced its new logo for the Chinese market: Copreci- Ke Pei Xi. Behind Ke Pei Xi, "admirable Technology coming from the West," a name phonetically and sufficiently close to Copreci´s soundness.

Copreci has participated in the annual Suppliers Gala organized by the polish home appliance manufacturer, Amica. Amica recognized the professionalism of its partners and its contribution to achieve the Amica´s Group Strategy by means of these prizes.
At the event assisted Mr. Jacek Rutkowski, President of Amica, who presented the award to Mr. Imanol Oleaga, Copreci´s Europe Gas Cooking Director, Mr. Jan Vesely, Sales Representative and Mr. Unai Escartín, Copreci´s Key Account Manager.
Also attended the ceremony, Tomasz Dudek, Vice President of Amica, and Blazej Sroka, Components Procurement Director among others. This award means a recognition of the work done in recent years in the field of competitiveness, customer service, and innovation.
